Testimony

And testimony [has been prescribed] as a means of overcoming denials. والشَّهادَةَ اِسْتِظْهاراً عَلَى المُجاحَداتِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who gives false testimony for you will give a similar testimony against you. مَنْ شَهِدَ لَكَ بِالباطِلِ شَهِدَ عَلَيْكَ بِمِثْلِهِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There is no good in the testimony of the treacherous. لاخَيْرَ في شَهادَةِ خائِن۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
