Polytheism

The most harmful thing is polytheism. أضَرُّ شَيْء الشِّرْكُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The smallest amount of showing off is polytheism. أيْسَرُ الرِّياءِ الشِّرْكُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Verily the slightest showing off is polytheism. إنَّ أدْنىَ الرِّياءِ شِرْكٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Ascribing partners [to Allah] is disbelief. اَلاْشْراكُ كُفْرٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The bane of faith is ascribing partners to Allah. آفَةُ الإيمانِ الشِّرْكُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The cause of destruction is polytheism. سَبَبُ الْهَلاكِ الشِّرْكُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
