One who seeks security remains steadfast [on the straight path].
مَنْ طَلَبَ السَّلامَةَ لَزِمَ الاِسْتِقامَةَ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who desires security should adopt moderation.
مَنْ أرادَ السَّلامَةَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالقَصْدِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who wishes for security keeps himself steadfast on the straight path.
مَنْ رَغِبَ فِي السَّلامَةِ ألْزَمَ نَفْسَهُ الاِسْتِقامَةَ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who loves security must prefer poverty [over wealth] and one who loves comfort must prefer...
مَنْ أحَبَّ السَّلامَةَ فَلْيُؤثِرِ الفَقْرَ، وَمَنْ أحَبَّ الرَّاحَةَ فَلْيُؤْثِرِ الزُّهْدَ فِي ِالدُّنيا۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who has three [qualities] in him, will remain safe both in this world and the next: He enjoins...
مَنْ كانَ فيه ثَلاثٌ سَلِمَتْ لَهُ الدُّنيا وَالآخِرَةُ: يَأمُرُ بِالمَعْرُوفِ وَيَأْتَمِرُ بِهِ، وَ يَنْهى عَنِ المُنْكَرِ...

There is no preservation more averting [of harm] than security [that is granted by Allah].
لا وِقايَةَ أمْنَعُ مِنَ السَّلامَةِ۔

There is no attire more appealing than security [and well-being].
لالِباسَ أجْمَلُ مِنَ السَّلامَةِ۔

Many a person remains safe after regret.
رُبَّ سالِم بَعْدَ النَّدامَةِ۔
