Peace and Reconciliation

Peace is the fruit of forbearance. اَلسِّلْمُ ثَمَرَةُ الحِلْمِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Peace is the cause of security and the sign of steadfastness. اَلسِّلْمُ عِلَّةُ السَّلامَةِ وعَلامَةُ الاِسْتِقامَةِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Be peaceful with people and you will be safe; work for the Hereafter and you will be successful. سالِمِ النّاسَ تَسْلَمْ، واعْمَلْ للآخِرَةِ تَغْنَمْ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever is peaceful with the people, his friends increase and his enemies decrease?. مَنْ سالَمَ النّاسَ كَثُرَ أصْدِقائُهُ وقَلَّ أعْدائُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Whoever is peaceful with the people, his faults remain hidden. مَنْ سالَمَ النّاسَ سُتِرَتْ عُيُوبُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is peaceful with the people gains security. مَنْ سالَمَ النّاسَ رَبِحَ السَّلامَةَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who is pleased to live peacefully with the people will be safe from their adversities. مَنْ رَضِيَ مِنَ النَّاسِ بِالمُسالَمَةِ سَلِمَ مِنْ غَوائِلِهِمْ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم I found the reconciliation that does not weaken Islam to be more beneficial than war. وَجَدْتُ المُسالَمَةَ مالَمْ يَكُنْ وَهْنٌ فِي الإسْلامِ أنْجَعَ مِنَ القِتالِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There is no outcome sounder than the outcomes of peace. لاعاقِبَةَ أسْلَمُ مِنْ عَواقِبِ السِّلْمِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
