The fruit of intimacy with Allah is keeping aloof from the people.
ثَمَرةُ الأُنسِ بِاللّهِ الاسْتيحاشُ مِنَ النَّاسِ۔
—Ghurar al-Hikam
—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
How can one become intimate with Allah when he has not separated himself from the creation?.
كَيفَ يَأنَسُ بِاللّهِ مَنْ لا يَسْتَوْحِشُ مِنَ الخَلْقِ؟۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who is intimate with Allah keeps aloof from the people.
مَنْ اَنِسَ باللّهِ اِسْتَوحَشَ مِنَ النَّاسِ۔

—غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
One who keeps aloof from the people, becomes intimate with Allah, the Glorified.
مَنِ اسْتَوحَشَ عَنِ النَّاسِ أَنِسَ بِاللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ۔
