Inward Thoughts And Feelings

The goodness of inward thoughts is evidence of the soundness of insight. صَلاحُ السَّرائِرِ بُرْهانُ صِحَّةِ البَصائِرِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Blessed is the one whose inward thoughts are good, whose outward [character] is righteous and who... طُوبى لِمَنْ صَلُحَتْ سَريرَتُهُ، وحَسُنَتْ عَلانِيَتُهُ، وعَزَلَ عَنِ النَّاسِ شَرَّهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم When the consciences are being reformed, the hidden rancour becomes evident. عِنْدَ تَصْحيحِ الضَّمائِرِ يَبْدُو غِلُّ السَّرائِرِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم When the outward gets corrupted, the inward also get corrupted. عِِنْدَ فَسادِ العَلانِيَةِ تَفْسُدُ السَّريرَةُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose inward [feeling] is good, his outward [character] is righteous. مَنْ حَسُنَتْ سَريرَتُهُ حَسُنَتْ عَلانِيَتُهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One whose inward [feeling] is good [and honourable] is not afraid of anyone. مَنْ حَسُنَتْ سَريرَتُهُ لَمْ يَخَفْ أحَداً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
