One who strives in seeking a mirage, his hardship is prolonged and his thirst increases.
مَنْ سَعى في طَلَبِ السَّرابِ طالَ تَعَبُهُ، وكَثُرَ عَطَشُهُ۔

One who hopes to quench his thirst from a mirage, his hope will be dashed and he will die of thirst.
