Security

Nothing brings greater security than [having] faith and [performing] good deeds. ما مِنْ شَيْء يَحصُلُ بِهِ الأمانُ أبْلَغَ مِنْ ايمان وإحسان۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم By Allah, no one hinders the security of the peaceful or takes away the rights of the people except... واللّهِ ما مَنَعَ الأمْنَ أهْلَهُ، وأزاحَ الحقَّ عَنْ مُسْتَحِقِّهِ إلاّ كُلُّ كافِر جاحِد، ومُنافِق مُلْحِد۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Do not be deceived by [a false sense of] security, for you will surely be taken from your sanctuary. لا تَغْتَرَّنَّ بِالأمْنِ، فَإنَّكَ مَأخُوذٌ مِنْ مَأمَنِكَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم It is not appropriate for an intelligent person to live in fear when he has found a way to [attain]... لايَنْبَغي لِلْعاقِلِ أنْ يُقيمَ عَلَى الخَوفِ إذا وَجَدَ إلىَ الأمْنِ سَبيلاً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم There is no blessing better than security. لا نِعْمَةَ أهْنَأُ مِنَ الأمْنِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Security is [a cause of] deception; fear is [a means of] precaution. اَلأمْنُ إغْتِرارٌ، اَلخَوْفُ إسْتِظْهارٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The sweetness of security is spoilt by the bitterness of fear and panic. حَلاوَةُ الأمْنِ، تُنَكِّدُها مَرارَةُ الخَوفِ والحَذَرِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Many a security turns into fear. رُبَّ أمْن إنْقَلَبَ خَوْفاً۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The comfort of life is in security. رِفاهِيَّةُ العَيْشِ فيِ الأمْنِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
