Deception And The Deceitful

Beware of [engaging in] deception, for verily deception is from the qualities of the vile. إيّاك َ والخَديعَةَ، فَإنَّ الخَديعَةَ مِنْ خُلْقِ اللَّئيمِ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم He who makes his intelligence follow deceptions has deluded it. غَرَّ عَقْلَهُ مَنْ أتْبَعَهُ الخُدَعَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who tries to deceive Allah is [himself] deceived. مَنْ خادَعَ اللّهَ خُدِعَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم The deceiver has no religion. لادينَ لِخَدَّاع۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
