The Leader

A just leader is better [and more beneficial] than heavy rainfall. إمامٌ عادِلٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مَطَر وابِل۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who obeys his Imām has obeyed his Lord. مَنْ أطاعَ إمامَهُ فَقَدْ أطاعَ رَبَّهُ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم A leader needs a wise mind, an eloquent tongue and a heart that is steadfast in the establishment... يَحتاجُ الإمامُ إلى قَلْب عَقُول، ولِسان قَؤُول، وجَنان على إقامَةِ الحَقِّ صَؤُول۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
