Harm breeds hatred. اَلأذى يَجْلِبُ القِلى۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم One who prevents himself from harming [others] will not be opposed [or hated] by anyone. مَنْ كَفَّ أذاهُ لَمْ يُعانِدْهُ أحدٌ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم Preventing yourself from harming [others] reforms the hearts of your enemies towards you. مَنْعُ أذاكَ يُصلِحُ لَكَ قُلُوبُ عِداكَ۔ —Ghurar al-Hikam —غُرَرُ الحِکَم و دُرَرُ الکَلِم
