Hadith #4676

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The Arabic Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) states,

مَنْ سَألَ في صِغَرِهِ أجابَ في كِبَرِهِ۔

This can be translated as,

One who asks in his young age, answers in his old age.

This profound saying of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) highlights the importance of seeking knowledge and asking questions from a young age, as it will lead to wisdom and understanding in later stages of life.

And say: My Lord! Cause me to come in with a firm incoming and to go out with a firm outgoing. And give me from Thy presence a sustaining Power.

This verse highlights the importance of seeking knowledge and guidance from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) throughout our lives, from the beginning until the end.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:269), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) says,

He grants wisdom to whom He pleases; and he to whom wisdom is granted indeed receives a benefit overflowing.

This verse emphasizes that wisdom is a divine gift bestowed upon those who seek it. By asking questions and seeking knowledge in our youth, we open ourselves to receiving the blessings of wisdom in abundance.
