Hadith #4947

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, and his noble companions.

The provided Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) emphasizes the ultimate goal and reward of complete submission to the will of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ). The word (tasleem) "تَسْلِيم" in this Hadith refers to surrendering oneself entirely to the commandments and guidance of Allah. Indeed, those who submit themselves to Allah and do good, they will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Furthermore, in Surah Al-Nahl (16:97), Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) states,

Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

This verse emphasizes that a life of righteousness and submission to Allah leads to a good and fulfilling existence in this world and an eternal reward in the hereafter.

Imam Ali's (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) Hadith further emphasizes that the ultimate success and reward for complete submission to Allah is the attainment of the (Dar al-Na'eem) "دَارُ النَّعِيمِ" - the Abode of Bounties. This refers to Paradise, the eternal abode of bliss and blessings promised to the righteous believers. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) describes Paradise in the Quran in numerous verses, such as in Surah Al-Ra'd (13:23),

Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], 'Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.'

The Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) serves as a reminder and motivation for Muslims to strive for complete submission to Allah's will in all aspects of their lives. It highlights that success in this world and the hereafter is not merely based on external achievements or material possessions, but on the sincerity of one's faith and the righteousness of their actions.

By fully surrendering ourselves to Allah, we align our will with His divine plan and seek His pleasure above all else. This submission brings about a sense of tranquility, contentment, and inner peace, even in the face of trials and tribulations. It allows us to navigate the challenges of life with patience, gratitude, and trust in Allah's wisdom and decree.

Moreover, the Hadith reminds us of the consequences of our choices and actions. If we choose to submit to Allah and strive for righteousness, we will be rewarded with the eternal blessings and joys of Paradise. On the other hand, if we neglect our duty to submit to Allah and follow our own desires, we risk losing the ultimate reward and falling into the punishment of Hellfire.

In conclusion, the Hadith of Imam Ali (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) beautifully encapsulates the essence of true success and fulfillment in the Islamic faith.
