Hadith #8434

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his pure progeny, the Ahl al-Bayt, and his noble companions.

In the Quran, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) encourages believers to be generous and fulfill the needs of others. In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says, (Quran 2:195)

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good

This verse emphasizes the importance of spending in the way of Allah and doing good to others, which includes fulfilling their needs and desires.

The Hadith also mentions the importance of being moderate in what one seeks. The term (al-ijmal) "الإجْمالُ" refers to moderation or balance. It implies that one should not excessively seek or desire worldly possessions or materialistic gains. Islam encourages its followers to strike a balance between their worldly pursuits and their spiritual obligations.

In the Quran, Allah warns against excessive worldly desires and encourages moderation. In Surah Al-Qasas, Allah says, (Quran 28:77)

But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters

This verse reminds Muslims to prioritize their pursuit of the Hereafter while not neglecting their responsibilities in this world. It encourages them to seek the balance between their worldly needs and their spiritual aspirations.
